Scott Lockyear is a National Director of Design & Construction Services. Prior to joining WoodWorks, he managed technical support for Weyerhaeuser’s Southeast Division. Scott has been involved in codes and standards development with the American Wood Council—for example, as lead engineer in the development of the 2001 Wood Frame Construction Manual and implementation of a performance-based code for use in Taiwan. He is an associate member of the ASCE 7 wind and main committees, and has been published in Structure, Wood Design Focus and the Building Safety Journal. LinkedIn Twitter

As South Central Regional Director, Robbie Kelly provides technical support and assistance to north Texas, Austin & San Antonio. He received his Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Business from Sam Houston State. He has spent the majority of his professional career as a regional manager for two of the largest wood window manufactures.

Located in San Diego CA, Scott has over 16 years as a manufacturer representative within the multi-family construction industry. His comprehensive experience includes consulting roles in sales management, marketing and distribution while launching new structural components to the engineering community. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a major in economics.

Ethan Martin, PE

Ethan Martin is Northwest Regional Director of Design & Construction Services for WoodWorks and a licensed engineer in several states with experience ranging from civil engineering and land development to residential, commercial, and educational building design. He earned a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University specializing in structures. As the previous owner of a structural engineering firm in North Carolina, Ethan has worked on projects that range from small renovations and additions to a 470,000-square-foot, $125 million central school for the Cherokee Nation. He has also worked on national accounts such as Home Depot, Chili’s, McDonald’s and Honda.

Archie Landreman is the North Central Regional Director of Design & Construction Services. He has been active in the wood and structural building component industry since 1970, and has held various sales and sales management positions related to wood truss and engineered wood products. In particular, he has extensive experience with lumber, structural wood panels, prefabricated wall panels, wood trusses, engineered wood beams and I-joists. He is a member of numerous organizations including the Construction Specifications Institute, Structural Building Components Association and Structural Insulated Panel Association.

Based in northern Virginia, Terry Pattillo is a licensed architect, with projects throughout the United States. He brings design experience from several disciplines including commercial developments, mid-rise construction, shopping centers, resorts, schools, convention centers, retail and restaurants.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Bruce is a 20-year veteran of the wood products industry. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a major in construction technology, concentrating in architectural design, and a minor in physics. His multi-faceted career experience has included architectural design, structural design and roles within the engineered wood products industry related to marketing, product management, distribution, consulting and sales. Bruce serves as Southeast Regional Director Design & Construction Services for WoodWorks.

Cheryl A. Ciecko is a licensed architect and Senior Technical Director for WoodWorks in the central US. A specialist in sustainability issues, she is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA) and a LEED AP. Cheryl has a BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois – Urbana with High Honors, and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis.

Jennifer Cover is a California licensed professional engineer and National Director of the Architectural and Engineering Solutions Division of WoodWorks. Since 2006, she has also been an adjunct professor teaching timber design at the University of California, San Diego. Her background is in structural design, project management and strategic planning. Ms. Cover has a MS in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Construction Management) from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. She is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California as well as the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Terry Malone is a licensed structural engineer in Washington, Oregon and Arizona. Prior to joining WoodWorks, he was a principal in consulting structural engineering firms in Washington and Oregon, conducted third-party structural plan reviews and has served as a faculty member at St. Martin’s College in Lacey, Washington. Terry has over 35 years of wood design experience and has taken an active role as a presenter providing seminars at state and local ICC chapters and professional engineering organizations. Terry is author of The Analysis of Irregular Shaped Structures: Diaphragms and Shear Walls, published by McGraw-Hill and ICC. He is a member of the Structural Engineers’ Association of Arizona and the International Code Council.

Scott Breneman, PhD, PE, SE is a licensed Structural Engineer and Professional Engineer in the State of California and Senior Technical Director of the Architectural and Engineering Solutions Team of WoodWorks. Scott received a bachelors and masters in engineering from the University of Florida and a doctorate in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. His doctoral research entailed looking at novel methods to reduce seismic damage to mid-rise and high-rise frame buildings. His engineering experience spans from structural design of new single family, multi-family and mixed-used buildings throughout the country; to the seismic evaluation and retrofit of large institutional buildings in California; and to high-end analysis and technology development. Scott is currently an active member of the Sustainable Design Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Structural Engineers Association of Central California.

Lisa Podesto is a California licensed professional engineer and Senior Technical Director of Architectural and Engineering Solutions. Prior to joining the WoodWorks initiative, Lisa was a Project Manager and Design Engineer specializing in wood design. She earned her BS in General Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and her MS in Civil Engineering (emphasis in structural engineering) from San Francisco State University. She is the past State Chair of the Structural Engineers’ Association of California Sustainable Design Committee, and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers Structural Engineering Institute and the International Code Council.

Adrian BlockerAdrian Blocker is President and Chief Executive Officer of the WoodWorks program. Prior to joining WoodWorks, Adrian was President of the Riverview Advisory Group and, in that capacity, served as President of the Southern Forest Products Association and Director of the Binational Softwood Lumber Council. Previous positions have included General Manager of US Operations and Vice President of West Fraser, Inc., General Manager of International Paper (IP), and Director of Strategic Planning for IP’s consumer packaging business. He also held a variety of corporate and leadership positions at Champion International prior to its purchase by IP. Adrian holds degrees in forestry and business administration as well as an MBA from Mississippi State University.
